Flight Numbers: 4 | 5 | -1 | 1
The Discraft Joy is a glide-forward midrange designed with direct input from Paige Pierce to fill a precise gap in her lineup. Sitting comfortably between the Fierce and the Buzzz, the Joy offers effortless distance and control without requiring full power.
Named after Paige’s grandmother, Joyce, the Joy is both a personal tribute and a highly workable midrange built for real-world shot shaping. With smooth turn, exceptional glide, and a gentle, dependable finish, it excels at point-and-shoot lines while still handling confident releases.
Inspired by the easy carry of the Sol but tuned with added torque resistance, the Joy can be thrown flat for long, straight flights, placed on a smooth hyzer for controlled landings, or set on an anhyzer with a reliable, forward-pushing fade instead of a dumpy finish. It’s a midrange you can trust when touch, glide, and accuracy matter most.
Prototype ESP Plastic
This run is produced in Prototype ESP plastic, offering a grippy, durable feel with consistent release across a wide range of conditions. Prototype runs may differ slightly from future production versions, making this release a unique opportunity to throw the Joy in its earliest form.
